CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR
Purpose: To monitor and control security systems, surveillance equipment, and communication channels in a centralized control room. The role involves real-time monitoring, responding to alarms and incidents, coordinating with response teams, and maintaining accurate logs of all activities.
· Key Requirements:
- · Grade 12 / Matric certificate (essential) .
- · Valid PSIRA Grade C or higher (Grade B or A will be advantageous).
- · Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a control room or surveillance environment.
- · Computer literate, with proficiency in CCTV systems, access control software, and radio communication protocols.
- · Strong communication and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.
- · Ability to multitask and maintain high levels of concentration for extended periods.
- · Excellent report-writing skills.
- · Clear criminal record (SAPS clearance required).
- · Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (advantageous).
- · Physical fitness for site-based security roles.
GENERAL INFORMATION
· Location: Polokwane, Limpopo.
· Experience: Previous control room or security operations experience is preferred.
